Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Senior Web Designer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing exceptional, user-centric web experiences. This role requires a blend of aesthetic expertise and hands-on front-end development skills to elevate our digital presence and our client projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design & UI/UX:

Create visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive designs for websites, landing pages, and web applications.

Develop wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

Ensure all designs meet high standards of usability (UX) and web accessibility (WCAG) guidelines.

Front-End Development & Implementation:

Translate design mockups into clean, functional, and efficient code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Implement responsive and adaptive designs that perform flawlessly across various devices and browsers.

Work with Content Management Systems (CMS), primarily WordPress, for theme customization and content integration.

Optimize web assets and code for maximum speed, scalability, and overall performance.

Collaboration & Strategy:

Maintain brand consistency and adhere to established style guides and design systems.

Collaborate closely with back-end developers, marketing teams, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web design, UI design, or front-end development.

Design Tools: High proficiency in design software such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).

Web Technologies: Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (basic to intermediate level).

CMS Experience: Hands-on experience with WordPress development and customization is highly preferred.

Design Principles: A strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals, typography, layout, color theory, and responsive design principles.

Portfolio: A strong online portfolio demonstrating a breadth of web design projects and successful implementations is mandatory for consideration.
