Website Developer (Remote)

We're Hiring a Website Developer to join our team for part-time!

Pencil Media Production is an LA-based video production, digital marketing and website development company.

The successful candidate would be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress websites. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on).

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of PHP is a must*
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our sites/applications
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.
• Proven working experience in web programming is a must.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
