Website Manager & Developer (AI-Enabled)

We're looking for a Website Manager & Developer to both build and maintain the digital presence across our group of companies. This dual role covers two core areas: developing new websites and platforms tailored to each company's specific needs, and managing and maintaining existing sites to keep them secure, current, and high-performing. We expect this person to actively adopt and leverage AI tools to work faster and smarter — using AI to accelerate development, streamline maintenance, and add value across the portfolio. You'll take projects from concept to launch, own them long-term, and continually bring modern, AI-driven efficiency to how the group's sites are built and run.

Key Responsibilities

Development (building new)

• Design and develop new websites and digital platforms from concept to launch, tailored to each company's needs.
• Recommend and build the right solution for each requirement — whether a CMS site, custom web application, e-commerce store, or landing page.
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, AI code assistants) to build faster and more efficiently.
• Handle both front-end and back-end development for new builds.
• Select appropriate technologies, platforms, and integrations to fit each project's goals and budget.

Management (maintaining existing)

• Manage, maintain, and update multiple existing websites across the group, ensuring uptime, performance, and security.
• Perform ongoing updates, bug fixes, enhancements, and content changes.
• Manage hosting, domains, SSL certificates, backups, and CMS/server administration.
• Optimize existing sites for speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.

AI adoption (across both)

• Actively adopt, test, and integrate AI tools to improve development speed, content creation, and site management.
• Use AI for tasks such as code generation, debugging, content drafting, image generation/editing, SEO, and workflow automation.
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and recommend ones that benefit the group's websites and processes.
• Apply sound judgment on where AI adds value and where human oversight is essential — particularly around quality, security, and licensing.

Across all areas

• Coordinate with marketing, design, and management teams across different companies to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain brand consistency across each site while respecting each company's distinct identity.
• Implement and monitor analytics, tracking, and reporting (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with data protection, accessibility, and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing technical support across all group sites.
• Manage third-party vendors, plugins, and integrations where needed.

Required Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• [3–5] years of experience in web development and site management.
• Proven ability to build new websites and platforms from scratch as well as manage existing ones.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in development, content, or workflow (an active adopter, not just aware of them).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a framework (React, Vue, or similar).
• Back-end experience: PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar, plus databases (MySQL, etc.).
• Strong hands-on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress and/or others used across the group).
• Knowledge of hosting environments, domain/DNS management, and basic server administration.
• Understanding of SEO, site performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously.

AI Tools & Skills (a key differentiator)

• AI coding assistants: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
• AI content and image tools: ChatGPT/Claude, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or comparable.
• AI features within website and design platforms (CMS AI plugins, Figma AI, etc.).
• Prompt writing — the ability to get useful, reliable results from AI tools.
• Practical understanding of AI's limits: quality control, security, and copyright/licensing awareness.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience building on multiple platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, custom frameworks, etc.).
• Experience managing a multi-site network (e.g., WordPress Multisite).
• E-commerce development (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento).
• UI/UX design sensibility and familiarity with Figma or Adobe tools.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, or similar) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with marketing tools, email platforms, and integrations (CRM, automation).

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
