Job Brief

Will be responsible for the overall activities concerning events (mostly weddings). This includes idea generation, floral designs, creating final décor design for events and managing the event production. An employee in this position should have the ability to apply inspiration, creativity, and imagination that ensure events come out unique and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and co-workers. They will also have to follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Create complete proposals and perform all necessary paperwork.
• Responsible for creating event designs, drawings.
• Make sure designs satisfy client and company requirements, are within budget, and are delivered within deadlines.
• Discussions with clients to determine their design goals and participate in design meetings, as well as in brainstorming sessions with clients.
• Ensure project status, delivery information is promptly communicated to internal teams and clients.
• Creating floral designs for events
• Setting up at events to bring clients vision to life
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

Requirements

• Proven ability to expect and solve problems related to production timelines
• Innovative minded individual with strong ability to generate new ideas concerning design creation and event production.
• Possess positive attitude with the ability and willingness to work with clients.
• Excellent team management skills to work effectively in a team setting and to lead a team if assigned to do so.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and give a solution.
• Proven work experience as an event designer, organizer, or planner
• Solid portfolio of previously and successfully managed events, such as weddings, parties, corporate events, and meetings.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and time management skills
• Strong sales skills to be able to sell ideas to clients.
• Strong ability to manage several projects together independently
• Reliable and dependable with the ability to operate in a deadline-driven environment
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
• Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous
• People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
• Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
• High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
