Weekday Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Mon–Fri Required)

This is NOT a casual or occasional pet sitting role.

You must meet ALL of the following:

• Available Monday–Friday (consistent weekday availability required)
• Available for midday (11am–2pm) OR morning (7am–11am) + evening (5pm–8pm) blocks
• Live within 1 mile of our Charlotte service areas (zip codes listed below)
• Have reliable transportation and a smartphone
• Be highly reliable, punctual, and responsive at all times

Who This Role Is NOT For

• You are looking for occasional, last-minute, or “side gig” work
• You cannot commit to set weekday availability
• You are not comfortable managing multiple scheduled visits per day
• You are unreliable, frequently late, or slow to respond to phone calls, texts, and/or emails and other messages

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care for dogs, cats, and small pets
• Walk, feed, medicate, and monitor pets safely
• Complete multiple scheduled visits daily with strict punctuality
• Communicate updates to clients and management via our app
• Observe and report any concerns regarding pet health or behavior
• Represent Queen City Pet Sitting professionally at all times

Job Requirements:

Availability (REQUIRED)

You must be available for at least one of the following:

• Midday Dog Walks: Monday–Friday (11am–2pm)
• Morning & Evening Visits: Monday–Friday (7am–11am AND 5pm–8pm)
• Overnights and/or Boarding (optional but increases earning potential)

Experience & Skills

• Prior dog walking or pet care experience (personal or professional)
• Comfortable handling dogs up to 40 lbs (including walking two at once)
• Strong time management and independence
• Ability to pass a background check

Compensation

• $18–$25 per hour (based on schedule and client load)
• Higher earnings available with greater availability and consistency
• 100% of tips retained

Role Expectations (Important)

This role requires:

• Working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Managing multiple visits per day on a schedule
• Being on time, every time
• Strong communication before, during, and after visits
