As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient flow and exceptional customer service on weekends.

About the Role:

As a Weekend Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the intake process for patients arriving at our facilities on weekends. Your primary focus will be to provide exceptional patient and family care, ensuring that each individual receives prompt and personalized attention. You will work closely with our clinical and support staff to ensure efficient and effective patient flow, while also maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient admissions and discharges on weekends, ensuring timely and efficient processing
• Provide exceptional patient and family care, addressing concerns and questions in a professional and compassionate manner
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and optimal care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes

Admissions Coordinator Requirements:

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, nursing home experience preferred

• This position is 4-5 days a week, requiring work every weekend.

• Hybrid remote and in-person position.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and Microsoft Office
