Weekend Bookkeeper
The Bay Bar and Grille is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper. In this role, you will work closely with the full-time Bookkeeper ensuring the business has necessary cash and credit card requirements on our main bookkeeper's days off.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Prepare casino and restaurant cash tills
- Balance and batch credit card transactions
- Allocate staff tip-outs appropriately
- Prepare daily paperwork
- Assist with payroll accuracy and recording
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Accounting Systems such as MAS 90 preferred
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Weekend Mornings Required (with other fill in opportunities as needed)
- Must pass background check
Benefits/Pay
- $20-$23/hour DOE
- Daily shift meal and 30% discount when not working
