Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated, reliable Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our weekend team. In this role, you will provide essential in-home support to seniors aging in place, ensuring their safety, dignity, and comfort. This is an excellent opportunity for nursing students, facility staff looking for extra weekend hours, or dedicated caregivers wanting consistent part-time schedules.

Core Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Support: Provide safe transfer assistance (including gait belt or Hoyer lift mechanics where required) and posture positioning.
• Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, cognitive activities, and light exercises to combat isolation.
• Meal Preparation: Cook nutritious meals tailored to the client's dietary guidelines and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Domestic Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, changing linens, washing dishes, maintaining a tidy space).
• Health Tracking: Provide timely medication reminders and document daily care logs/shift notes accurately.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active CNA License listed with the Maryland Board of Nursing (strongly preferred; required for specialized personal care cases).
• Up-to-date CPR / First Aid Certification.
• Up-to-date TB test or Chest X-ray
• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience (Home care or facility experience preferred).
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills, a compassionate heart, and absolute punctuality.
