WEEKEND CAREGIVERS – NORMAN AREA

Job Overview
Care Plus Home Care is seeking compassionate, skilled WEEKEND CAREGIVERS to serve clients in the Norman area. This position is ideal for caregivers who are confident in providing higher-level, hands-on care and are committed to improving the quality of life for those they serve.

Schedule

• Weekend shifts required
• Morning & Evening shifts available
• 4-hour shifts

Pay

• $20/hour

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING)
This is a higher-acuity case. Caregivers must have hands-on experience with:

• Hoyer lift transfers
• Bed-bound clients
• Colostomy care
• Catheter care

Duties

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Assist with medication reminders and proper documentation
• Provide catheter care, vital signs, and basic medical support
• Offer companionship and emotional support, including for dementia/Alzheimer’s clients
• Accurately document care using EMR/EHR systems
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, meal prep, maintaining a safe environment)
• Safely operate medical equipment, including Hoyer lifts
• Collaborate with the care team to follow individualized care plans

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong observation and communication skills
• Experience in home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing
• Knowledge of senior care and medical terminology
• Experience with hospice, dementia, or Alzheimer’s care preferred
• CPR & First Aid certification required
• Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate
