Weekend Delivery Driver - Medical Courier Route

Position Overview

Teton Delivery is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented driver to operate a weekend

medical courier route serving Eastern Idaho and Jackson, Wyoming. This role

involves transporting temperature-controlled medical specimens and time-sensitive

materials safely and professionally between medical facilities and airport locations.

Drivers operate a company-provided sedan and play a key role in supporting

hospitals, clinics, and laboratories across the region.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, driving, and

maintaining a high level of reliability and professionalism.

Schedule

This position operates every Saturday and Sunday and follows a split-shift schedule.

 0600: Report to the Teton Delivery hub and drive to Jackson, WY for a medical

specimen pickup. Shipments are then tendered for outbound flight (typically

through Idaho Falls Airport, depending on flights and weather).

 Midday break typically begins around 11:30 AM (timing may vary depending on

route conditions and operational needs).

 Approximately 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Medical courier route through Eastern

Idaho, serving areas including Idaho Falls, Rigby, Rexburg, Blackfoot, and

Pocatello, with 10+ stops.

Drivers start and end their shift at the Teton Delivery hub.

Additional Opportunities

Drivers who demonstrate reliability may have opportunities to:

 Pick up additional weekday hotshot deliveries if they are interested (optional)

 Apply for full-time weekday routes after gaining experience

Responsibilities

 Safely operate a company vehicle on scheduled delivery routes

 Transport temperature-controlled medical specimens

 Maintain documentation and chain-of-custody procedures when required

 Ensure timely delivery and airport tendering of shipments

 Follow all company safety and driving policies

 Communicate effectively with dispatch and route supervisors

 Provide professional service when interacting with medical facilities

Qualifications

 Must be 21 years of age or older

 Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

 Ability to safely drive mountain routes including travel to Jackson, Wyoming

 Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs when necessary

 Strong attention to detail and time management

 Ability to work independently and maintain scheduled routes

 Reliable attendance and punctuality

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
