Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or reservations
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about the menu, venue, or event details
• Support food and beverage service by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information with proper phone etiquette
• Assist in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
• Background in hospitality, hotel services, or guest services enhances your suitability for this role
• Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, or hotel guest services is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for success in this lively role

Expectations: This is a weekend job. Saturday and Sunday are required days, with time requests granted. Hours can be 8 am to 2:30 pm and anywhere within. Business generally decides departure time. Advance well enough, and other jobs and shifts can be available such as server or barista.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
