Weekend Med Tech / Caregiver – Memory Care

Job Summary:
Gulf Coast Memory Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Weekend Med Tech / Caregiver to join our team. This part-time position works Saturdays and Sundays and is responsible for administering medications and providing quality, compassionate care to our residents. The ideal candidate works well with others and is committed to supporting residents living in a memory care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician and under the supervision of the delegating nurse
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor residents and report any changes in condition to the nurse or supervisor
• Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, and blood pressure as required
• Complete documentation and incident reports as needed
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities based on their interests
• Participate in resident activities and care conferences when needed
• Support new resident welcome and transition into the community
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in resident rooms and common areas
• Work collaboratively with caregivers and staff to ensure the highest quality of care
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Med Tech certification preferred
• Previous caregiving or senior living experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand medication orders, resident charts, and policies
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient

Schedule:
Part-Time – Weekends Only (Saturday & Sunday)

Physical Requirements:

• Regular standing, walking, and assisting residents
• Ability to lift or assist with lifting up to 100 lbs when necessary
• Work environment noise level is typically moderate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
