Weekend Pet Sitter

Anna's Animals currently looking for fun, loving, reliable, and mature individuals to join our team of dedicated pet care professionals! We are always accepting applications for part-time positions to give love to all of our furry friends. This is NOT an independent contractor position. This is a WEEKEND role. You MUST be able to work either one of our shifts below.

Job Description

We are seeking dependable and compassionate Pet Sitters to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who loves animals, enjoys working independently, and can manage their time efficiently.

Schedule:

• Friday- Sunday availability
• Shifts are either: 7AM-2PM or 2PM -9PM
• This is a part-time job to start
• Your schedule is based on client need and we do not guarantee any amount of hours, income or number of visits.

Responsibilities:

• Walk and care for dogs according to client instructions
• Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well-exercised during visits
• Use our scheduling and communication app to check in/out of shifts, send updates to clients, and upload visit photos
• Secure client homes following proper entry and exit procedures
• Manage your schedule efficiently and arrive on time for all visits
• Communicate clearly with clients and management, and be open to feedback

Requirements

• Must love dogs and cats and their owners
• Must have your own reliable car with valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Must live in a city within a 15 minute drive of Perrysburg, OH
• Must be flexible with schedule and willing to add visits with short notice
• Occasional evening or weekend hours for client Meet and Greets may be necessary
• Must have a clean criminal background (criminal/background check required)
• Must be detail orientated
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to follow pet care instructions exactly as written
• Must have a smart phone with email and ability to use our scheduling app

Compensation

• Starting at $14.00/hour for 60 days. With a successful 60 days on our team, pay increase to $15.00/hour.
• Paid biweekly
• $20 gas stipend per month
