Weld Machine Set-Up/Assistant Supervisor

Angola Wire Products is a premier Midwest steel wire, tube and sheet metal fabricator of quality parts.

We manufacture a wide variety of items from wire racks, POP displays, wire baskets, wire grids and wire shelves.

Qualifications include:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Working knowledge of measuring tools and equipment
• Strong math skills
• Ability to document and maintain records
• Familiar with computer Microsoft systems and email
• Ability to gather and analyze data to identify problems and improve product quality
• Inspection experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Supervisor skills a plus

Responsibilities include:

• Setup various machines (Resistance Welders)
• Operate a forklift
• Train and instruct new hires
• Manage workflow
• Complete First and Last piece inspections
• Communicate to department Supervisors
• Perform various quality tasks as needed

Our 2nd shift works 4 - 10 hour days Monday - Thursday with possible overtime.

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Manufacturing resistance welding: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Required)
