Skilled Trades Welder

Tridan International is a proven supplier of manufacturing systems for heat exchange technology. Our systems and machines are used in manufacturing facilities all over the world.

A Welder is required to support the manufacture and assembly of automation systems from simple fixtures to high precision tools and complex automated manufacturing equipment. We support these builds with our own in-house weld shop which makes the majority of the required weldments needed for our builds. Also made in the weld shop is our expansion tooling and expansion rods. The ability to operate a lathe will be a requirement to produce our expansion rods. This individual will also have to be able to operate other equipment such as our metal saws.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welding skills in MIG, TIG and Flux Core
• Operate lathe to process expansion rods
• Assist with miscellaneous shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

The candidate for this position should have experience with MIG, TIG and Flux Core welding. An understanding of the operation of manual machining equipment is a plus.

• Must have your own tools to bring with you on site.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering prints & documentation and machine detail prints.
• Must have good math skills.
• Must know how to use basic measuring instruments such as tape measures, protractors, etc.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Degree Requirements:

High School Diploma, Formal Vocational Training preferred

Years of Experience:

2 or more years preferred but will teach as required
