Welder

Van Dellen Steel is a privately held corporation located in Dutton, Michigan. Our experienced staff, well equipped facility and tremendous record for meeting even the most difficult contract requirements have allowed us to become a recognized leader in West Michigan for fabricated structural steel since 1968. Currently we are looking for a Welder.

This role will be trained, however previous welding experience is a plus. Additional responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Regulates heat and feed and maintains welding equipment.
• Works from specifications, drawings, prints and welding symbols.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret plans, calculations, and manuals.
• Experience with mathematical concepts such as fractions, weight measurements, and distance is a plus.
• Experience with with welding methods such as shielded metal arc, gas-tungsten arc, and gas-metal arc is a plus.
