Welder

Job Summary:

The welder will be responsible for performing operations necessary to install, modify, dismantle, repair, overhaul and rebuild various types of equipment and vehicles appropriately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Must have immediate knowledge of wire and stick welding
• Must be able to use cutting torches
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Must be able to use and read measuring devices including but not limited to square, levels and tape measures
• Must possess basic math skills including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication and division for the purpose of calculating material fabrication
• Ability to weld and repair vehicles/equipment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualification (Preferred, Not Required):

• Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks according to work schedule
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of equipment and tools
• Skills in repairing minor vehicle parts
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical labor under adverse field conditions
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
• May be required to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to twist, bend, stoop or reach
