Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction teams. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and safety at the forefront. Your expertise in various welding techniques and ability to interpret schematics will ensure high-quality craftsmanship that meets industry standards.
Duties
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and other specialized welding techniques to join metal parts accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for welding or fitting.
- Cut, bend, assemble, and install pipes or structural components according to project specifications and industry codes such as ASME standards.
- Conduct quality checks using calipers, schematics, and visual inspections to ensure weld integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities.
- Assist with rigging, pipe fitting, soldering, tube bending, and maintenance tasks as needed for project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, and TIG
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing environments with a focus on safety standards.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and piping systems.
- Familiarity with pipe threading, tube bending, rigging practices, and soldering techniques.
- Strong communication skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings. Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
