Duties

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and other welding techniques to join metals according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering standards
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute welds on pipes, structural components, or assemblies
• Prepare workpieces using hand tools and power tools, including grinding, cutting, and cleaning metals before welding
• Conduct routine inspections of welds for quality assurance
• Maintain a clean work environment on construction sites or manufacturing floors while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, and knowledge of specific welding standards
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
• Experience with construction site work, manufacturing environments, or maintenance operations involving welding
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics for precise fabrication
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects
• Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working with heavy equipment or at heights

Pay: $25.76 - $40.00 per hour
