Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints effectively. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in the construction and fabrication of metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize Mig(GMAW) and Tig(GTAW)
- Set-up and run production weld equipment (manual and robotic)
- Interface with engineering to optimize welding robot programs
- Operate cranes and other lifting equipment to position heavy materials safely during the welding process.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Practice "Lean" processes unique to position
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents related to welding projects.
- Familiarity with various power tools used in the welding process.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment a plus
- Knowledge of soldering techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- MIG welding: 1 year (Preferred)
- TIG welding: 1 year (Preferred)
- interpreting blueprints: 1 year (Required)
