Key Responsibilities:

Welding:

  • Adhering to established welding procedures and specifications.
  • Operate welding equipment and tools in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure appropriate welding techniques are selected for specific metals and joints.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Inspect and prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, grinding.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, defects, and compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Familiarity with welding safety standards and protocols.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying environmental conditions.

Working Conditions:

  • Work may involve exposure to high temperatures, noise, and hazardous materials.
  • May require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Pay: £14.50-£15.76 per hour
