Welder

We are looking for qualified and motivated individuals to join our welding department. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years welding experience. The candidate must have the ability to adapt to a medium-paced environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Experience working with assembly parts is a plus.

Responsibilities:

· Perform uniform welds consistently.

· Perform welds utilizing the mobile positioner.

· Create welding fixtures.

· Construct weld samples from blueprints.

· Handle and maneuver hand grinder.

· Program and operate robotic weld machine, including program editing and restart.

· Operate forklift.

· Communicate with ME on design inconsistencies.

· Change weld/gas tanks as necessary.

· Perform welding machine maintenance.

Requirements:

· Perform and successfully pass basic welding test.

· Ability to read tape measure and other measuring instruments.

· Interpret weld characteristics from blueprint.

· Knowledge of quality weld aesthetics.

· Ability to weld in various positions.

· Ability to set welding machine parameters for specific tasks.

Pay: From $24.50 per hour
