Welder – Weekday 1st Shift

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Overall Responsibility

• Fabrication welders are needed in the welding of sheet metal. GMAW is mostly Galvanneal with some welding of aluminum and stainless steel (experience is helpful but not required).
• Set-up equipment to MIG weld mild steel, stainless and aluminum metals.
• Interpret/understand weld symbols on print and have good attention to detail.

Key Job Duties

• Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, square, etc.
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and print specifications.
• Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
• Follow company policy and standards.
• Keep work centers clean and orderly.
• Able to take and follow directives.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience.
• 1+ years MIG welding experience.

Desired Qualities and Attributes

• Ability to work and function as a team.
• Self-motivated and can work without much supervision.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal).
• Is safety minded and puts safety first while performing job duties and functions.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
