Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Welder to perform welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance work for industrial machinery and equipment. The candidate will support daily maintenance activities while ensuring safe and efficient operations in compliance with company procedures and QHSSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work as assigned by supervisors.
• Carry out repair and reconditioning activities for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Perform specialized welding activities including TIG welding, plasma arc cutting, and air carbon arc gouging.
• Read and interpret machine diagrams, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Conduct daily inspection and routine maintenance of welding equipment and machinery.
• Monitor welding and gas-cutting equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Report equipment abnormalities, defects, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain logbooks and prepare shift handover reports.
• Perform housekeeping before and after completion of work.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and QHSSE policies.
• Support preventive maintenance and fabrication activities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum primary school certification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar field working with the same machinery and equipment within the industry.
• Trade certificate or welding-related license preferred.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
