Overview
Ehresmann Engineering (EE) is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team! In this role, you will be responsible for welding and assembling structural steel components used in the production of cell towers, monopoles, and other custom telecom structures. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, durable products that meet the demands of the ever-growing telecommunications industry.
Duties
- Perform MIG and/or Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) on structural steel components with precision and consistency.
- Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols to accurately execute welding tasks.
- Ensure all welds meet engineering specifications and company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to (EE) safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding within manufacturing or production environments.
- Proficiency in reading fabrication drawings.
- Experience in large structural welding or heavy fabrication preferred.
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or rigging equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 55 lbs.
- AWS welding certification (or ability to obtain) preferred not required.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication work.
Work Environment
- Indoor fabrication shop environment.
- Required use of PPE including but not limited to welding hood, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
- Be part of a smaller team known for quality craftsmanship and strong customer relationships.
- Work collaboratively with shop personnel and engineering staff to meet production schedules.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
