Welder - 2nd Shift

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and be comfortable working in a construction site environment. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Fabricate ductwork and other metal components according to specifications.
• Utilize plasma cutting tools for precise metal cutting.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
• Employ basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Operate cranes and rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials as needed.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Proficient in welding techniques including ductwork fabrication and soldering.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate tools such as micrometers for precise measurements.
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints.
• Experience operating cranes and rigging equipment is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
