Welder, Fabricator

Baltimore Fabrication, an Affiliate of SteelFab Inc. are looking for a Welders/Fabricators at our York, PA locations. Hiring for 1st and 2nd Shifts!

**2nd Shift Welders and Fabricators receive a $2.00 shift differential

Welder Summary: Welding out fabricated items including steel staircases and railings, stainless steel, aluminum, structural steel beams and columns, gates and fencing, bollards, lintels and framing. Welders also perform necessary joint preparation per welding specifications.

Fabricator Summary: Ability to Fabricate Miscellaneous Items. Fabricated items include, but are not limited to steel staircases and railings, structural steel beams and columns, gates and fencing, bollards, lintels, and framing. Fabricators are responsible for the fabrication of specific scope items as defined by the shop foreman. Position requires experience reading and understanding fabrication drawings including weld symbols, measurements, and layout design. Welding certifications are preferred.

Qualifications
- Must be able to read blueprints and drawings
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the structural steel/ miscellaneous metals industry is preferred
- Job duties include reading drawings, following instructions and cutting, welding, and fabricating metal
- Cleaning and maintaining the shop or job site on down time.
-Valid Driver’s License
- AWS Welding certification
- Some type of Safety training, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, Manlift, forklift etc.
-Ability to pass a physical and pre-job drug screen

Shift + Pay Information

- Day Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM/Night Shift: 2:30PM to 12:30PM

-Welders: $22/Hour to $27.00/Hours (Based on Experience)

- Fabricators: $24/Hour to $30/Hour (Based on Experience)
