Welder, Fabricator and Trailer Mechanic

American Truck & Trailer Supply is looking to hire a Welder/ Trailer Technician/ Fabricator. A certified welder you will be utilizing, and learning, a wide variety of skills you will repair trailers, fabricate custom items for customers and service trailers.

Work Environment

It is a small, close knit team, there is plenty of variety in the work and you will enjoy working on our clients trailer, truck, camper, snow plow or anything else they may bring us! You will be working around moving parts and vehicles, and may be required to wear protective clothing and gear.

Physical Environment

Position requires standing, walking, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching and lifting a minimum of 50lbs

Ability to speak Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on trailers and associated equipment
• Install hitches and other truck accessories
• Execute welding tasks, including MIG welding and fabrication, to ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including brake and suspension checks.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for repairs and service tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and maintain a safe working environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
