Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on various projects in a manufacturing or construction environment. This role requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, ensuring adherence to ASME codes and standards.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise fabrication work.
• Conduct pipe threading and assembly tasks as required for specific projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process, applying mechanical knowledge as necessary.
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in dimensions.

Experience

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a construction or manufacturing environment is essential.
• Familiarity with various welding techniques
• Experience with rigging processes and mechanical assembly is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are required for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
• Knowledge of machining processes is a plus, along with experience in soldering when necessary.
