Welder Fabricator - TIG/MIG

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our team. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide high-quality welding solutions for medium sheet fabrication projects. Based in the workshop, you will contribute your expertise to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components and different metals, according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Put forward ideas for any design/process improvements
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding. Mild steel, stainless steel, copper and brass sheet.
• Ability to read technical drawings and feedback on potential manufacturing issues
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications in welding are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comprehensive maths skills for measurements and calculations.
