Welder Fabricator

Pay rates are adjusted to experience level based on experience and ability.

Full time welder/fabricator position available for shop work fabricating miscellaneous parts and frames.

What’s in a days work:

• Measures, lay out, fit parts and assemblies according to specifications
• Cuts workpiece using saws, ironworker and metalworking equipment
• Prepares parts for welding using grinders, sanders, etc
• Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
• Determines required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy and welding techniques
• Occasionally lifts 50 pounds
• Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to move workpieces

What’s in it for you:

• Employees work 40 hours a week (overtime offered frequently). Core hours are MONDAY - THURSDAY 6:30-5:00

What we want:

• HS Diploma or GED preferred
• 2 years working experience as a welder
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Capable of following instructions, working with other team members within company.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
• Ability to plan work and select proper tools.
• Must possess a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
