Welder - MIG

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, along with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to work effectively in a construction or manufacturing environment. The Welder/Fitter will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and fittings that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on sheet metal.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct fabrication tasks including assembly, pipe threading, and rigging as required.
• Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout all welding processes.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards.

Experience

• Previous construction site experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and soldering.
• Familiarity with mechanical tools such as calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for measurements.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely is a plus.
