Welder - TIG/MIG (Flexible Hours)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible hours; up to 40 hours/wk)

Pay: Starting at $24/hour

Classification: 1099 Contract

Location: Campobello, South Carolina

Part-time or Full-time position available for the right candidate.

We are looking for a dependable TIG welder for an ongoing first-shift production welding role in a manufacturing environment. This position primarily involves welding pre-cut steel, stainless, and copper components in dedicated fixtures while maintaining steady production output and consistent weld quality. Consistent indoor work; no travel required

This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable with production-style TIG welding, looking to learn or improve their TIG skills, and wants steady local work.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on pre-cut steel, stainless steel, & copper components using fixtures and a turn-table
• Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and basic shop drawings
• Maintain consistent weld quality, fit-up, and output throughout the shift
• Inspect your own work visually and correct issues as needed
• Use hand tools, grinders, measuring tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
• Keep your work area clean and follow all required site safety practices

Qualifications

• Prior TIG welding experience in fabrication or production welding
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols with confidence
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Reliable attendance and dependable work habits
• Basic math and measuring skills
