We are a small, but busy Steel Fabrication shop, looking for a competent time-served welder to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
We are looking for candidates who can:
- Read and interpret detailed welding process specifications.
- Perform welding duties in accordance with relevant qualifications.
- Perform welding duties to both stainless and carbon steels.
- Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding duties.
- Lift, turn, manipulate and move loads with trolleys and forklifts (forklift training/qualification is desirable, but not necessary - we have training opportunities available).
- Work to deadlines.
- Carry out self-inspection of work
- Maintain a safe working environment by consulting risk assessments; only adopt safe working practices and ensure that housekeeping is of the highest standard.
- Carry out prior-to-use safety inspection; record and report any adverse actions/conditions.
- Candidates should hold the equivalent welding standards through experience (NVQ Level 3).

Working hours consist of the following:
- Monday–Thursday: 07.30–16.00.
- Friday: 07.00–14.30.
- Overtime available as required.
Salary: is up to £16.22 per hour - dependent upon candidate experience.
This position is available for an immediate start.
All employment is subject to a 3 month probationary period.
