Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products that meet industry demands. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills to bring designs to life. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components
  • Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and able to weld in any position.
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
  • Use rigging and crane operations for lifting and positioning heavy materials during fabrication processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

  • Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, FCAW welding techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately
  • Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
  • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication
  • Mechanical knowledge of rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes
  • Familiarity with construction safety procedures including crane operation and forklift handling

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
