We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills to produce high-quality metal components. Duties

  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal structures and components
  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding with precision according to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards
  • Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble sheet metal, ductwork, and piping systems
  • Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Read schematics and mechanical drawings for assembly instructions and fabrication specifications
  • Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and installation tasks
  • Conduct quality checks using basic math skills and fabrication techniques to meet project specifications

Requirements

  • Proven experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding techniques
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Mechanical knowledge including rigging, assembly, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills
  • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a manufacturing or construction environment

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
