Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview
Seeking a skilled *MIG*/TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in producing high quality products that meet standards.

Duties

• Aluminum TIG is not necessary, however it is preferred.
• Fabricate and weld components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Work with sheet metal, and other materials to create custom parts.
• Operate hand tools and other machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform pipe threading and machining tasks as required.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members on projects and assist in troubleshooting issues.

Skills

• Proficient in welding techniques and practices.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
• Experience working with ductwork, sheet metal, and various fabrication materials.
• Familiarity with machining processes and pipe threading.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
