Groundscapes is one of the Omaha area's leading outdoor living and landscape construction companies, specializing in high-end projects including pools, docks, retaining walls, patios, outdoor kitchens, and custom waterfront structures.

We are hiring a Welder / Fabrication Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on welding dock frames, steel structures, and custom fabricated components used in our construction projects.

This is a full-time, year-round position with steady work, quality equipment, and long-term growth opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Weld dock frames and structural steel components
• Fabricate custom metal parts and assemblies
• Cut, grind, fit, and finish steel materials
• Read and work from measurements and shop drawings
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely
• Assist with repairs and modifications to equipment and structures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Produce high-quality finished work with attention to detail

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required
• Fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to read basic shop drawings and layouts
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physical environment
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to work independently and with a team
