Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary

FPW Axles Limited manufacture Axles for Special Purpose Vehicles such as Airport Ground Support Vehicles Road Sweepers, Fork lift trucks and Electric vehicles. Due to continued growth and re-investment FPW Axles Limited require a time served Welder/Fabricator.

Competitive Salary

38.5 hours per week. overtime available.

The successful candidate will:

• Work on their own or as part of a team, be proactive, energetic and possess a can-do attitude
• Maintain to the highest level workmanship standards and product quality
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Time served welder/fabricator. To weld and fabricate using MIG and stick. Welding plate thickness from 6mm to 100mm
• Able to read Engineering drawings and follow welding procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and can work under pressure

Qualifications required: Time served, Coded welder

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7 am to 4 pm/ 8 am to 5 pm

Friday: 7 am to 11.30/ 8 am to 12.30pm

Overtime available @ time and a half (Monday to Saturday)

Holidays: 34 days per year
