Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Perform welding and other welding techniques to fabricate metal components according to technical specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
• Read and interpret technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication
• Conduct basic measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices for precise assembly
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship

Skills

• Proficiency in welding with experience in welding techniques
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural components
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication
• Experience in assembly processes including fitting, fastening, and finishing parts
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality control and safety standards
