Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and drawings.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.

Skills

• Proficient in welding techniques
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience in fabricating metal components, including sheet metal work.
• Competent in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication tasks.
• Ability to assemble various metal structures accurately and efficiently.
• Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations in fabrication processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour

Experience:

• MIG welding: 2 years (preferred)
