Welder/Fabricator

P. Proudlove & Son Ltd are looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our friendly, family-run team. We offer a varied workload including structural steelwork and bespoke fabrication projects, both in the workshop and on-site.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment, with training provided for the right candidate.

The Role

• Fabrication and welding of structural steelwork from engineering drawings
• Producing bespoke fabrications based on customer requirements
• Working both in the workshop and on-site when required
• Collaborating as part of a small, hands-on team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred (MIG/TIG/MMA beneficial)
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings (or willingness to learn)
• Strong work ethic and a flexible, adaptable approach
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Pay & Benefits

• £13–£16 per hour (depending on experience and skill level)
• Overtime available (weekdays and weekends)
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
