Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG/TIG welding, fabrication, and working with stainless steel and mild steel.

Responsibilities:

• Welding and fabricating bespoke metal products
• use of hand tools
• using a band saw
• driving company vehicles for delivers and site work
• keeping the workshop clean and tidy
• sanding and blending of thin sheet metal 1.2mm to 6mm
• working with stainless steel, knowledge on how to blend grain direction
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Assisting with installation projects (ventilation, gates, etc.)
• using a cnc press brake
• using a cnc plasma cutting table
• unloading materials using a fork lift
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality

Requirements:

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Flexible and reliable
• able to undertake a tig and mig weld and fabrication test onsite.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
