Welder/Fabricator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout production. Duties

• Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components
• Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
• Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce precise parts for assembly or further processing
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently

Skills

• Proficiency in TIG welding and other welding techniques relevant to welding standards
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal and structural steel
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or welding processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks
• Familiarity with assembly processes and fitting components together precisely
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality output
