About Us

We are a long-established and respected manufacturer of specialist recovery vehicles, known for our quality work manship and commitment to engineering excellence.

Due to continued growth and the increasing demand for our services, we have made substantial investments in our Hertford operations. This includes the major redevelopment and modernisation of our Vehicle Manufacturing site, as well as the addition of a brand-new, purpose-built 2.5-acre Vehicle Maintenance Facility. These enhancements allow us to expand our capabilities, increase efficiency, and continue delivering the high standards our customers expect.

As we move into this next phase of growth, we are looking to strengthen our team. We are currently seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join us and contribute to the quality and reliability of the vehicles we produce and maintain.

The Role

You will be responsible for welding and fabricating components used in the construction of our recovery vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welding and fabrication to a high standard
  • General welding and fabrication of steel and other materials as needed
  • Working from engineering drawings to produce accurate assemblies
  • Cutting, shaping, drilling, and preparing materials
  • Using workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
  • Working independently on tasks, while also contributing well within a team environment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to company procedures.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator (essential)
  • MIG welding skills (highly desirable)
  • Ability to work confidently alone as well as part of a team
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • A full valid UK driving licence is required
  • A positive, proactive approach to work

  • 07:30–16:30 Monday–Friday, including, twice daily 15-minute break and a 30-minute lunch
