Welder/Fabricator

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder / Fabricator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and welding metal components from engineering drawings to produce high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, fabrication drawings, and specifications

Measuring, cutting, preparing, and assembling steel.

Performing MIG, TIG, and MMA welding to a high standard

Fabricating bespoke metalwork, structural steelwork, and general fabrication projects

Operating workshop machinery including saws, drills, grinders, guillotines, and press brakes

Conducting quality checks to ensure work meets specifications and company standards

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Assisting with on-site installation work when required

Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience as a welder/fabricator

Strong MIG welding experience

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

Experience working with structural steel and general fabrication

Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Desirable:

MIG, TIG and MMA welding experience

CSCS card

Forklift, IPAF, or PASMA certification

Site installation experience

Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications
