Welder/Fabricator Lead

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various fabrication and welding techniques, with a strong focus on quality and precision. We take on a variety of custom projects from structural steel to ornamental stairs and railings to one-off design/build/install projects for manufacturing environments. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing a product that is quality that we can be proud of.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld components
• Operate hand tools and welding equipment, ideally mig, tig, & some stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Field measure existing conditions and be involved in the design process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication and welding.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Familiarity with rigging techniques is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
