Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing welding, fabrication, and fitting tasks on various projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional products across construction, manufacturing, and custom fabrication sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <LOCATION> welding to fabricate and repair metal components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly processes
  • Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble metal parts
  • Measure materials with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate fabrication within specified tolerances
  • Conduct rigging, pipe threading, soldering, and assembly tasks for complex structures such as ductwork or mechanical systems
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to construction site work and fabrication processes
  • Collaborate with team members on projects involving blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and schematics interpretation

Qualifications

  • Proven construction site experience with hands-on welding and fabrication work in industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), <LOCATION> welding, and plasma cutting techniques
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
  • Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
  • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to welding and fabrication projects
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in rigging, pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes
  • Familiarity with safety procedures related to construction sites and manufacturing environments including crane operation and forklift certification preferred
