Welder/Fitter

Job Overview
Murtech Marine is seeking experienced welders/fabricators (minimum of 3 yrs experience) to perform hull work and repairs using FCAW and SMAW.

Must be able to pass a pre-hire 3G weld test and bring your own welding gear.

This job includes set-up, laying out work using fixtures and guides to repair, modify, or fabricate parts and/or equipment products.

Ability to operate and/or use related equipment and tools which include SMAW, FCAW, forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders (portable & bench), cutting torches, hand tools, drills, punches, a tape measure, etc. Welders can expect frequent standing, bending/kneeling, and climbing. Work is on-site and also at our jobsites located across Delmarva.

Hours & Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Some days could be longer.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years' experience

· Reliable Transportation

· Communication skills

· Time management

· Ability to work in and indoor and outdoor environment – all weather conditions

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
