Summary

We are seeking a Welder/Laborer to join our dynamic team at Custom Fab-Install. In this role, you will be asked to weld in various fabrication tasks, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional steel products and services. This position is vital for supporting our expansion in structural steel and miscellaneous steel fabrication and installation.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble materials for fabrication.
• Understanding the welding process by handling tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Follow specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Help with the rigging of materials as needed for welding operations.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to welding and fabrication.

Requirements

• Satisfactory knowledge in the welding processes, with a willingness to learn more advanced techniques.
• Must have a valid driver's licenses with a clean driving record.
• Experience with stick welding and Mig welding processes is a must.
• Being able to understand technical drawings and weld symbols is a must.
• Familiarity with safety standards on construction sites is a plus.
• Forklift operation experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
